Gagalis (with crossings)


It was a vessel of the Black Sea and Sea of Marmaras. Yards of Pontus, Bosporus and Paphlagonia’s were constructing this kind of ship.
Its carren bears resemblance to the polacca’s with mirror on the stern.
Its name comes from the sharp form of the fore rudder post, as «gaga» means nose in the Turkish language.
